Gurja Himal (7193m/23,599ft) is a peak within the Dhaulagiri Himal, a sub-mountain range of the Himalayas. Gurja Himal is located 21.3 km west of Dhaulagiri I, the 7th highest mountain in the world at 8167m (26,795 ft). Gurja Himal is joined by a ridge to Dhaulagiri VI (7268m). The ridge continues in an easterly direction to Dhaulagiri IV (7661m), Dhaulagiri V (7618m), Dhaulagiri III (7715m) and Dhaulagiri II (7751m), and in the west to Churen Himal, Ghustang (6529m). There is a 6010m pass that separates them. On two flanks of Gurja Himal lie the Kaphe Glacier on the northwest flank and the Konabon Glacier on the northeast flank
