Nepal has a numerous number of adventures activities targeted to a different level of adventure lovers. Most of the travelers come to Nepal for trekking and peak climbing. Apart from popular trekking regions such as Everest and Annapurna. There are some trekking regions which are restricted. Trekkers need to have a special permit for trekking to restricted regions.

Some of the popular restricted regions with their respective permit fee are listed below.

Manaslu Trekking Permits Fee

From September to November:

  • USD 70 per week per person and
  • After 7 days: USD 10 per day per person

From December to August:

  • USD 50 per week per person and
  • After 7 days: USD 7 per day per person

Mustang Trekking Permits Fee

  • USD 500 per person for the first 10 days and
  • After 10 days: USD 50 per day per person

Upper Dolpo Trekking Permits Fee

  • USD 500 per person for the first 10 days and
  • After 10 days: USD 50 per day person

Lower Dolpo Trekking Permits Fee

  • USD 10 per week per person

Nar Phu Trekking Permits Fee

From September to November:

  • USD 90 per week per person

From December to August:

  • USD 75 per week per person

  1. Passport and copies of Passport along with a copy of the latest visa page
  2. Passport size photo: 3 pcs

How to apply for Trekking Permits for the restricted region?

Following are the important checklist that you need to know before applying for restricted trekking permits:

  • Must include at least two people (excluding the guide or porter)
  • Must Hire at least one Professional trekking guide and porter
  • Submit required documents only to any legally registered trekking companies of Nepal (Find legal documents of Mount Mania Treks)
  • Trekking permit fee can be paid in Nepalese currency:
    Notwithstanding anything written in above, the Indian citizen can pay in Nepalese currency equivalent to US Dollars.
