Rara Lake Trek is a unique opportunity to be among those who wants to be on the remote trails of western Nepal. The 15-day trek begins with visits to UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu followed by a flight to Nepalgunj and then to Jumla. From Jumla, you will set forth on a journey that promises greater solitude and a chance to be in the presence of the fantastic Rara Lake. It is the highest lake in Nepal and proudly addressed by the Nepalese as the Queen of Lakes.

Day 3Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj (150m): 1 hour

Day 4Fly from Nepalgunj to Jumla (2,540m): 25 minutes

Day 5Trek from Jumla to Chere Chaur (3055m): 4-5 hours

Day 6Trek from Chere Chaur to Chalachaur (2980m): 5-6 hours

Day 7Trek from Chalachaur to Sinja Valley (2490m): 5-6 hours

Day 8Trek from Sinja to Ghorosingha (3050m): 4-5 hours
