Welcome to Tribhuvan Int’l Airport, Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal! One of the representatives from Mount Mania will be waiting to welcome you with fresh Nepali garlands and then transfer to your hotel by private vehicle. You will meet with trek guide and then brief about your trek.

Day 2Drive to Pokhara by Tourist Bus (6-7 hrs)

After breakfast, we leave our hotel early morning for a drive with scenic views along the road to Pokhara via Prithivi national highway. The drive could take roughly 6-7 hrs to reach Pokhara. An alternative way to reach Pokhara is by taking a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara for 35 minutes. Overnight at Pokhara hotel on Bed and Breakfast plan.

Day 3Drive from Pokhara to Phedi and Trek to Pothana (1990 m)

After an early morning breakfast, we start our adventure with a drive to Phedi and start trekking from there. We walk on stone steps, terraced fields and through villages and forests before reaching Dhampus where we have a lunch. Then, we continue our walk to Pothana. Now, the trail begins with a beautiful and pleasant short descent in the red sandalwood forest. From Pothana, the view of Fishtail mountain is really awesome in both sunrise and sunset time. Here we record our ACAP Permit in the checkpoint. Lastly, stay overnight at Lodge.

Day 4Trek from Pothana to Low Camp (3150 m)

After having a hot breakfast, we will start our trek for that day. Our next stop is, Pitam Deurali, a wonderful hike in the red sandalwood and rhododendron forest and with some little open land between, known as buffalo pasture. After the pasture, we enter a dense forest and we will gradually climb up (about 2 to 3 hrs). Finally, after the gentle descent, you will reach Forest Camp. Between Pitam Deurali and Forest Camp, we will have the chance to see vistas of Dhaulagiri and the Manaslu range. Forest Camp, little village is surrounded by beautiful green forest. They have nice campsites as well and lodges. On the western side, you can view Ghandruk and surrounding villages and Modi valley. Our next trial for Low camp has also a flat surface which has dense rhododendron forest. After 15-20 minutes of walk, we are at Low Camp. The low camp is surrounded by a beautiful rhododendron forest, a very quiet and peaceful environment, with a view of Machhapuchre and Mardi Himal.Stay overnight at Teahouse.

Day 5Trek from Low Camp to High Camp (4100 m)

After having breakfast in Low camp. Today, we will be entering into beautiful rhododendron forest and then start going up the trail in the dense forest till reaching the lower viewpoint (3289m). Now begins a grassy slope. From here we can also see many wonderful mountain views, especially at sunrise and sunset. Now, we continue further up to High Camp, hiking mostly on the grassy slope, up steep and some narrow paths and into some little rhododendron forests. During the clear weather, this hike is also one of the amazing, because we have the chance to walk along the off-the-beaten trail on an open ridge with great mountain views: the Annapurna range, Machhapuchre, and the southern green landscape; in deep, we can also see deep Modi river valley, including Ghandruk, Chhomrong, Sinuwa and Dovan. This place itself is a natural viewpoint tower. In all directions we can see breathtaking views, including Machhapuchre, Mardi Himal, Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Baraha Shikhar, Himchuli and the southern slope including Pokhara valley. This place is also very suitable for yak and sheep. Also, during our trek, we can see a couple of yak shelters and Mani Walls. Stay overnight at Lodge.

Day 6Explore around High Camp and back to Low Camp (3150 m)

After breakfast, we will hike for 20 to 30 minutes. The trail goes directly up through the steep hill. Immediately from this junction we can see a flat, wide place, looking like a little dried up pond. In a very clear weather, we will get an oppurtunity to view the Annapurna I 8091m, Annapurna south 7219m, Himchuli 6441m, Baraha Shikhar (Fang) 7647m, Tent peak 5695m, Singachuli 6501m, Gangapurna 7454m, Gandarvachuli 6248m, little summit of Annapurna III 7555m, both peaks of Machhapuchre (Mt. fishtail) 6993m — 9997m and Mardi Himal 5553m, MBC (Machhapuchre Base Camp), Deurali, Dovan, Sinuwa, Chhomrong, Ghandruk and the southern slope, including Pokhara valley and MHBCW (Mardi Himal Base Camp W) 4500m. Getting back down to Low Camp would take 3 – 4 hours maximum. Except for some hundred meters of narrow path, it is not that difficult, as long as there is no snow on the way. This day trip is quite adventurous, beautiful, joyful and definitely worth it. Stay overnight at Lodge.

Day 7Trek from Low Camp to Siding Village (1280m)
