Annapurna I), are unsurpassed. The microclimate of the valley makes it an ideal area for flying.

Ghorepani Poonhill Trek with Paragliding Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu (1320m) and Drop to Hotel

Welcome to Tribhuvan Int’l Airport, Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal! One of the representatives from Mount Mania will be waiting to welcome you with fresh Nepali garlands and then transfer to your hotel by private vehicle. You will meet with trek guide and then brief about your trek.

Day 2Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m)

After breakfast, we leave our hotel early morning for a drive with scenic views along the road to Pokhara via Prithivi national highway. The drive could take roughly 7-8 hrs to reach Pokhara. An alternative way to reach Pokhara is by taking a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara for 35 minutes. Overnight at Pokhara hotel on Bed and Breakfast plan. (B/B)

Day 3Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and Trek to Tikhedhunga (1540m)

After having breakfast at the hotel, we will drive from Pokhara to Nayapul which takes approximately one and half hours, then we start the first part of our hiking to Tikhedunga (1530m) via Birethanti (1065m.) This is a pretty easy flat out hike as we pass through several small lively villages and settlements. You can enjoy greenery forest with beautiful landscapes. Overnight at Lodge for accommodation- Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner plan. (B/L/D)

Day 4Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2860m)

After having hot breakfast at the lodge, we start trek and ascend steeply for the first 2 hours then ascend gently passing through Ulleri (2070m.) and Banthanti, villages. This path gives breathtaking views of Machhapuchhare or Fish Tail (6997m.), Hiunchuli (6441m), and the grand Annapurna (7219m) south on the way. Our trekking trail now gets quite easy going as we pass through rhododendron and shadowy forests amidst the cackling of birds which gives us good feelings till we ascend gently up to the final camp to the Ghorepani. Lastly, we will overnight at Lodge.

Day 5Trek from Ghorepani to Ghandruk via Poon Hill (3210m)

Early morning before sunrise, we will hike to Poonhill (3210m) and enjoy the sunrise views over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Tukuche Peak (6920m), Nilgiri (6940m), Varaha Shikhar (7847m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna South (7219m), Annapurna III (7855m), Machhapuchhare (6993m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Annapurna II (7937m), Lamjung Himal (6931m) and other numerous snow-capped mountains. Poonhill has always been a symbol of beauty for the Annapurna region. Then we will return back to Ghorepani and have a hot breakfast at lodge and lunch at Tadapani (2650m). Most part of the trail is through blooming rhododendron forest; the beautiful flower makes the jungle colorful in spring. Later, overnight at Ghandruk.

Day 6Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul and Drive to Pokhara

After hot breakfast at Ghandruk, we will hike up to Nayapul and then take a private vehicle to reach Pokhara. Within the trek to Nayapul is a lovely hike as you can enjoy the views of beautiful landscapes along the trail back. If you are hungry, we will stop at a hotel for lunch. Else, we will head to Nayapul in about 4 hours. Nayapul to Pokhara is about a one hour drive. Overnight at our hotel on bed and breakfast plan.

Day 7Paragliding and Pokhara sightseeing

Early morning after breakfast. We will head to Sarangkot (1540m) by private vehicle. The paragliding flight gives you amazing views of the whole Pokhara valley, Fewa Lake, and mountain ranges such as Annapurna, Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre. You can fly with world class pilots, solo or tandem and benefit from local knowledge going cross-country or acro flying, you can even get your international license in Nepal.

Day 8Drive to Kathmandu

After early breakfast at a hotel in Pokhara. We will check-out from hotel and catch our tourist bus which leaves at 7 AM to drive us to Kathmandu and the driving will be a fantastic experience as we drive past many small towns on the way and we are able to see rural settlements, gushing rivers, terraces, and green rural landscapes. We will stop for lunch in between the travel from Pokhara to Kathmandu. After 6 hours drive, we will arrive at Kathmandu and stay overnight at your hotel. One of the Mount Mania representatives will invite you to attend a farewell dinner with a cultural show. Enjoy the fullest.

Day 9Departure

Mount Mania representative will help you to transport to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu by private vehicle before 3 hours to your scheduled flight.
