Next day is all about acclimatization. We will hike to Everest View Hotel (3880m) where you can view Mt. Everest, Mt. Lotse, Mt. Nutse, Mt. Amadablam and other mountains. This hike will help speed acclimatization for trekking to Everest Base Camp. Also, you can check out the Sherpa museum for an overview of the Sherpa culture and history of mountaineering. On Saturdays, the Hatt Bazaar is open for trading and an intimate look at the locals’ marketplace. It is part of the larger Namche Bazaar, a shopping hub filled with all manner of trekking and mountaineering clothing and gears. Namche Bazaar, is the last stop for exchanging foreign currency and withdrawing money from ATM.

Day 6Trek from Namche Bazar to Tengboche (3876m)

After Breakfast in Namche Bazaar. Get ready towards Everest Base Camp trek. You can enjoy the breathtaking views of the Himalayas – Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kwangde – are some of the highlights you don’t want to miss. A short drop takes us to the riverside, then it’s across the river upwards through the forest pass. Brace your legs for a continual uphill trek at this point, alternating between a gradual grade and some seriously steep ground! Our destination, Tengboche, is known as one of the most beautiful places in the Everest region. Its views, which include Ama Dablam, are legendary. We’ll stop in on the Tengboche monastery, which is one of the largest monasteries in Khumbu. Enjoy the guided tour of the monastery grounds, followed by chanting and prayer with the resident Buddhist monks. At this monastery, Lama will give you a blessing for successful trekking and expedition ahead.

Day 7Trek from Tengboche to Pheriche (4,280m)

After breakfast, we will follow the trail with the Himalayas as its backdrop, the monastery in Tengboche is in an excellent location. We will visit the monastery in the morning and enjoy taking pictures of the monastery and the amazing landscape. We descend for about half an hour through a forest before crossing a river. Next, we trek uphill and notice that as we climb higher, the landscape becomes drier. We walk past a traditional Sherpa village of Pangboche before reaching Pheriche, a beautiful village located on a riverside. Here, we will also see a small helipad that is used for helicopter rescues during emergencies. We may even take a class with a mountain specialist in a medical clinic at Pheriche. Overnight at a Teahouse in Pheriche.

Day 8Day Trip to Nagarjun (5000m) and Back to Pheriche

After breakfast, today we should take 800m climb from the Pheriche to Nagarjun peak (5000m). This trail has an amazing view of the mountains including Mt. Makalu – 5th highest mountain in the world. This hike help a lot for acclimatization. There are chances to see Snow leopard on the hike to Peak. Hike to Nagarjun peak takes about 3-4 hour to get to the top and come down about one and half hour. Enjoy the view from the top and descend down to Pheriche. Overnight stay in Teahouse.

Day 9Trek from Pheriche to Lobuche (4,930m)

After having a hot breakfast, we start the trek with an easy walk towards Dugla. Next, we trek up the steep terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier, and then pass through the boulder-strewn slopes as we ascend Chupki Lhara where we find an array of stones with prayer flags used as memorials to Scott Fischer (American mountaineer) and tenth time Everest summitter Babu Chiri Sherpa (Nepalese mountain guide) who perished on a mission to climb Everest. The trail then continues to the Khumbu Glacier moraine and we find ourselves facing several great peaks – Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori and Mahalangur Himal. Overnight in Lobuche teahouse.

Day 10Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep (5180m) and Hike to Everest Base Camp (5364m)

After breakfast, we will take the trail to Everest Base Camp through the Gorak Shep Lake. Continuing straight ahead, we come across the Indian army mountaineers’ memorials. The path from here can be misleading; hence it is important that we follow our lead Sherpa diligently. The walk is tough due to thin air in the high altitude. We pass through a rocky ridge, moraine and, streams before reaching the Everest Base Camp. Upon reaching the Everest Base Camp, we see tents of mountaineers that stand out in bright colors against the monotony of gray surroundings (especially in the spring). Nuptse, Khumbuste and, Pumori are the mountains that we can view from the Everest base camp. Lastly, we will get back to Gorak Shep for a rest. Overnight in Teahouse.

Day 11Climb Kalapathar (5545m) and Trek Down to Dingboche

After breakfast, we will prepare for an early morning departure, amid pre-dawn darkness and cold temperatures (-10 to -14 C). Also, there is always the potential for cold winds which are quite common. Familiar peaks such as Lingtren, Khumbutse, and Changtse tower to the east even as Everest begins to reveal itself. But, it is upon reaching Kala Patthar that we get to see 360 degree up-close and formidable views of Mt. Everest. Don’t forget to take pictures, enjoy the magnificent mountain panorama, and then return back to Dingboche for an accommodation. Overnight in Teahouse.

Day 12Trek from Dingboche to Chukung (4760m)

After having a hot breakfast, we start out trek from Dingboche to Chukkung. Total time for the trek is 2 hours and is quite easy. Chukkung is a beautiful valley nestled between mountains like Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Imja Tse etc. You can get a really good and close view of these mountains and their glaciers. The river Imja Khola runs past the Chukkung village where we will be lodging. We prepare for the climb. Overnight in a Teahouse.

Day 13Trek from Chukung to Island Peak Base Camp (5,100m)

Next day, we are quite close to Island Peak. The trek to Island Peak Base Camp is on a fairly steep trail. First, we climb south then turn east to the main line of the valley. We then walk on a winding path below the southern flank of the moraine from the Lhotse Glacier. Next, we continue walking on a pleasant trail along a streamside. The route to the Amphu Labtsa lies to the southeast. A crisscross route through the Imja and Lhotse glacier moraines leads to a wide valley flanking the side of Island Peak. Overnight at Island Peak Base Camp.

Day 14Trek from Island Peak Base Camp to High Camp (5,560m)

On this particular day, we will trek from Island Peak Base Camp to High Camp (5560m). Overnight at High Camp.

Day 15Climb Island Peak and Return to Chukung

If the weather is favorable, then we will climb Island Peak. Climbing strategy will be decided by one of the climbing Sherpa leader at the time, taking into account the group’s acclimatization, weather, snow conditions and other factors. Sherpa will provide you ice climbing training to make you skillful on using climbing gears such as ropes, ice pick, harness, crampons etc. The following morning we leave very early for the final climb to the summit. This may take between four to six hours, depending on snow and weather conditions. We will fix a rope on the summit headwall for safety on both ascent and descent. Although it is not a technically difficult climb, the snow slopes are crack, the headwall is reasonably steep and a head for heights is useful. To reach the summit, willpower and stamina are required, but the incredible feeling of achievement atop this 6,187 m giant will remain a lifetime memory. The view from the summit is just fantastic! Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Makalu and Baruntse are the dominant giants rising above a sea of smaller peaks. Later, we should be able to descend back to Chukkung from our successfull summit attempt. Congratulations!

Day 16Trek back from Chukung to Tengboche

After having a hot breakfast, we will be leaving the mountains behind us. Our descent path takes us through various towns of Dingboche, Orsho, Shomare and Lower Pangboche to reach the suspension bridge over the Imja Khola River to ascend gradually through Debuche and then to Tengboche. Overnight in Teahouse.

Day 17Trek from Tengboche to Manjo (2860m)

After having breakfast in Tengboche, we will trek from Tengboche to Manjo. Monjo is a small village in the Khumbu region of Nepal. It lies in the Dudh Kosi river valley just north of Phakding and south of Jorsale, at an altitude of 2,860m, just below the Sagarmatha National Park entrance gate and check-point, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. Overnight stay in Teahouse.

Day 18Trek from Manjo to Lukla

Early morning after having a breakfast, we will trek for the last day from Manjo to Lukla. We enjoy this time to reflect on the trek as a group and the personal achievement of all those who took part. You can take a hot shower and relax. Watch all your amazing pictures having a sip of coffee in Lukla. In the evening, if you want we will have a few celebratory drinks and fun with your trek team. Overnight in Teahouse.

Day 19Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu

After early breakfast in Lukla, we will take a 30-minute flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla. This ends the trekking part of the journey. One last you can revel in the different sights of the landscapes while on the flight.
