  • Ang Dorje Sherpa (born 1970) is a Nepali sherpa mountaineering guide, climber, and porter from Pangboche, Nepal, who has climbed to the summit of Mount Everest 19 times.
  • Babu Chiri Sherpa (June 22, 1965 – April 29, 2001) was a Sherpa mountaineer from Nepal. He reached the summit of Mount Everest ten times.
  • Phurba Tashi Sherpa Mendewa, a Nepalese Sherpa mountaineer known for his numerous ascents of major Himalayan peaks. He reached the summit of Everest 21 times, including three times in the 2007 season alone.

  • Ang Rita Sherpa is a mountain climber who has climbed Mount Everest ten times without the use of supplemental oxygen, and is thus known as “The Snow Leopard”.
  • Reinhold Messner, (born 17 September 1944) is an Italian mountaineer, adventurer, explorer.  Reinhold who was the first solo ascent of Mount Everest without supplemental oxygen, along with Peter Habeler, and was the first climber to ascend all fourteen peaks over 8,000 meters (26,000 ft) above sea level.
