Everest View Trek: 5 Days Journey to Everest Panorama

Everest view trek is also known as Everest Panorama Trek. During the Everest view Trek you pass through the Sagarmatha National Park and pine forest, where Rhododendron flowers glow and there you find diversity of wildlife. Also, you can view Everest Region and interact with the largest sherpa community in Namche Bazaar and Khumjung.

Without much further ado, let’s head to Everest Panorama.

Day 1: Flight to Lukla & Trek to Phakding (2,652m)

Guide will help you to pick-up from hotel to domestic airport and at the same time guide will do check in formalities like boarding pass and luggage checking. If the weather is clear, you can view different mountains from airport departure hall. Once you enter in to the Aircraft. Our guide will let you know the best Mountain View seat and enjoy the amazing landscape till flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (25 minutes). After landing in Lukla Airport, Sherpa and porters will be standby at airport to carry the luggage. We will have breakfast in Lukla and then descending to Phakding following the bank of the Dudhkoshu River. Then, we will be staying at Tea house overnight. Enjoy whole day around Phakding; visit old Monasteries.

Day 2: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440 m)

After breakfast in Phakding, we will be heading to Namche Bazaar, the gateway to Mount Everest. Now, the trail will follow above the Dudhkoshi River via a long suspension bridge and then through a beautiful pine forest to Monjo, about two hours away. Then, we will approach the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park and check-in permit. After check-in, we will descend to Dudh Kosi River (spotting Mani stones along the way) to Jorsale. We will stop for lunch and then we climb the highest suspension bridge (Hillary Bridge). If the weather is clear, you will have the first view of Mount Everest. At the end of the day, we will overnight at the largest Sherpa village; Namche Bazaar.

Day 3:  Explore Khumjung Sherpa village and Everest View Hotel

Early in the morning, we will have breakfast and then we will start to climb up Everest view hotel through Shyangboche. From Everest view hotel, you will enjoy the incredible panorama view of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and other beautiful mountain range. After enjoying the view and relaxing with a hot coffee we continue to the traditional Sherpa villages of Khunde and Khumjung. On request to guide, you can explore Khumjung Monastery, which has the scalp of Yeti. Then, we will be back to Namche via the small runway in Shyangboche. In Namche, you can buy some souvenirs and enjoy with your friends in bar and bakery.

Day 4: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,800m)

After breakfast, we will descend to Hillary Suspension Bridge and then pass through numerous local villages. This is our last evening in Tea house and we will have get together with trekking staffs. With great teamwork and determination, you’ve successfully completed the journey to Everest Panorama.

Day 5: Fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla Airport

Early in the morning, we will head to Lukla Airport which is very close from Tea house. After luggage checking and boarding pass, we will enter to aircraft to fly back to Kathmandu with the panorama view and landscape. Upon landing, our guide will take you to hotel. After refresh, you can explore around Kathmandu for shopping and guide will invite you for farewell dinner with cultural program. Our guide will be eager to know the feedback on the trip.
