Day 3Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m) 6 -7hours

After breakfast in Phakding before gearing up for the trek to Namche Bazaar, the biggest sherpa village in Nepal. Our trail takes us first over the Dudhkoshi River via a long suspension bridge, and then through a beautiful pine forest to Monjo, about two hours away. Soon thereafter, we will approach the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park for a brief permit check and then descend to Dudh Kosi River (spotting Maney stones along the way!) en route to Jorsale. We will stop for Lunch, and then it’s uphill to Namche. Our trekking path along the riverbank crossing one of the highest bridge in Khumbu Region- which is the Hillary Suspension Bridge. From Top Danda, you will see the first glimpse of Mount Everest. After one hour trek, we will overnight at Namche Bazaar – One and only gateway to Everest.

Day 4Day hike around Namche Bazaar

Next day is all about acclimatization. We will hike to Everest View Hotel (3880m) where you can view Mt. Everest, Mt. Lotse, Mt. Nutse, Mt. Amadablam and other mountains. This hike will help speed acclimatization for trekking to Everest Base Camp. Also, you can check out the Sherpa museum for an overview of the Sherpa culture and history of mountaineering. On Saturdays, the Hatt Bazaar is open for trading and an intimate look at the locals’ marketplace. It is part of the larger Namche Bazaar, a shopping hub filled with all manner of trekking and mountaineering clothing and gears. Namche Bazaar, is the last stop for exchanging foreign currency and withdrawing money from ATM.

Day 5Trek to Tengboche (3880m) 5-6 hours

After Breakfast in Namche Bazaar. Get ready towards Everest Base Camp trek. You can enjoy the breathtaking views of the Himalayas – Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kwangde – are some of the highlights you don’t want to miss. A short drop takes us to the riverside, then it’s across the river upwards through the forest pass. Brace your legs for a continual uphill trek at this point, alternating between a gradual grade and some seriously steep ground! Our destination, Tengboche, is known as one of the most beautiful places in the Everest region. Its views, which include Ama Dablam, are legendary. We’ll stop in on the Tengboche monastery, which is one of the largest monasteries in Khumbu. Enjoy the guided tour of the monastery grounds, followed by chanting and prayer with the resident Buddhist monks. At this monastery, Lama will give you a blessing for successful trekking and expedition ahead.

Day 6Trek to Dingboche (4410m) 5-6 hours

After hot breakfast in Tengboche. Our trek will start through the rhododendron forest to Deboche followed by a bridge over the raging ‘Imja Khola’ River. We’ll pass the valley and cross last suspension bridge for Everest Base Camp Trek then we will reach to Pangboche village, the biggest settlement of Sherpas in the region. Enjoy a great opportunity to observe a typical Sherpa village and have a lunch. If you want, you can hike to the Pangboche monastery, one of the oldest in the area. After hiking to Pangboche, we will be heading towards wide valley which has a dry atmosphere and deserted mountains. Our last stop will be at Dingboche.

Day 7Day hike around Dingboche to Nagarjun (5083m) and return takes 4-5 hours

Accimilitization in Dingboche will be the last stop for your trip. Utilize your day by exploring Dingboche and hike up to Nagarjun Hill (5083m). From that hill, enjoy the Island Peak Summit, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Amadablam, Lobuche Peak, Glacier Lake, the high passes of Amphu Laptsa, and Makalu Barun National Park. After getting back from a day hike. We will lunch at Teahouse and take a rest. If you have any clothes to wash, then you can do it at that time.

Day 8Trek to Lobuche (4930m): 4 - 5 hrs

After breakfast, the trek will move gradually and be more challenging, due to the higher altitude. We’ll pass Thukla, but not before a tough, steep walk to the top of a high hill. Here are the memorial stupas dedicated to the climbers and trekkers who lost their lives to Everest over the years. The next part of our adventure brings over a rocky mountain landscape to Lobuche, a small settlement with amazing views of Mt. Lobuche, Mt. Pumori and the Nuptse. Prepare to make yourself warm up for a cold night because we are now almost at 5000m above sea level and the evenings can really cold.

Day 9Trek to Everest Base Camp (5364m) & Return back to Gorakshep (5180m) 8 hours

After breakfast, we will head to our final destination for Everest Base Camp. On the way to our destination, we’ll approach the famed Khumbu Glacier and icefall, located on the slopes of Everest. At the Base Camp, our objective, you’ll have an opportunity (during the spring climbing season) to meet climbers attempting to scale the mountain’s summit. Don’t forget to take out your cameras to capture mesmerizing views of majestic mountains. After enjoying the sunset, we’ll head back to Gorekshep for rest. We will overnight at Gorak Shep.
