Annapurna View Short Trek

Annapurna View Short Trek is a short, easy and beginner level trek in the Annapurna Region. This trek is suitable for those who want to go trek with their family members, those who can’t go at high altitude but wish to see close views of several white-capped peaks. for those who are the beginners of the trek.

Best Time:
  • Spring (Mar, Apr, May): You can see the national flower of Nepal rhododendron, green forest, best mountain view
  • Autumn (Sept, Oct, Nov): You can view green forest as well as the best mountain view
  • Monsoon: Fine but it’s a rainy season, you should have a raincoat, be careful from the leech. In this season, most preferable for nature photographers who like flora and fauna, green forest, river, waterfalls and many more
  • Winter: Even though you can view the mountain but the weather is bit cold (should wear warm clothes)

Annapurna View Short Trek Itinerary

Day 1Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu (1320m)

Welcome to Tribhuvan Int’l Airport, Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal! One of the representatives from Mount Mania will be waiting to welcome you with fresh Nepali garlands and then transfer to your hotel by private vehicle. You will meet with trek guide and then brief about your trek.

Day 2Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (810m) 6-7 Hours. Then drive to Kande. Trek to Australian Camp (2000m) 2-3 hours

After breakfast, we leave our hotel early morning for a drive with scenic views along the road to Pokhara via Prithivi national highway. The drive could take roughly 7-8 hrs to reach Pokhara. An alternative way to reach Pokhara is by taking a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara for 35 minutes. Afte reaching to Pokhara, we will take a private vehicle to Kande. Then after walking for one and half an hour, we will reach to our destination; Australian Camp. From Australian Camp, you can get an excellent view of Sunrise, Mt. Machhapuchhre, Annapurna II, Mt. Manaslu, Annapurna South and Mt. Hiunchuli. Overnight at Australian Camp.

Day 3Australian Camp to Sarangkot (1990m) 5-6 hours

After having a breakfast at Australian Camp, we will trek down to Nau Danda. On the way, we can view rice-field, local houses, local people and also mountain ranges that we saw yesterday. After 4-5 hours walk, we will reach to Sarangkot. Sarangkot is very much famous among paragliding lovers as well as the best viewpoint for Pokhara Valley. Also, from Sarangkot, you can view the Sunrise and Sunset. Overnight at Sarangkot.

Day 4Drive to Pokhara (30 minutes) and Drive back to Kathmandu ( 6-7 Hours)

After early breakfast, we will drive to Pokhara. After some rest, we will catch our tourist bus which leaves at 7:30 am to drive us to Kathmandu and the driving will be a fantastic experience as we drive past many small towns on the way and we are able to see rural settlements, gushing rivers, terraces, and green rural landscapes. We will stop for lunch in between the travel from Pokhara to Kathmandu. After 6 hours drive, we will arrive at Kathmandu and stay overnight at your hotel. One of the Mount Mania representatives will invite you to attend a farewell dinner with a cultural show. Enjoy the fullest.

Day 5Departure

Mount Mania representative will help you to transport to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu by private vehicle before 3 hours to your scheduled flight.
