Annapurna Base Camp Trek 7 Days Itinerary

Day 1Drive to Pokhara (820m)

After breakfast, we leave our hotel early morning for a drive with scenic views along the road to Pokhara via Prithivi national highway. The drive could take roughly 7-8 hrs to reach Pokhara. An alternative way to reach Pokhara is by taking a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara for 35 minutes. Overnight at Pokhara hotel on Bed and Breakfast plan. (B/B)

Day 2Drive to Siwai and Trek to Chomrong (2170m)

After having a breakfast in Pokhara, we will drive to Siwai which takes around 3 hours. Throughout the driving, you can enjoy the view of Mt. Machhapuchhre and Annapurna ranges. Later, we will follow the Modi river from Birethanti to Siwai. Now, the trekking journey begins with a short view of Annapurna ranges. You will have to cross the recently build suspension in Jhinu. After crossing the bridge, you will have to take steep uphill till Chomrong. Trekking to Chomrong takes 4-5 hours. Overnight in a teahouse with full board meals; Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 3Trek to Deurali (3200m)

First, we will have a breakfast enjoying a magnificient view of mountains. Today’s trekking routes has steep down till the first suspension bridge in the bottom of the hill. After that, we will ascends till Sinuwa. It is the starting of special management zone. Trekking path follows the dense forest with a blooming rhododendron (in spring season). In some rare case, you can also view wild animals; Deer, Boar, Bear, Leopard, Monkey and others. Our next stop for accommodation is Deurali.

Day 4Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m)

After having a breakfast, we will take a path which follows through the alpine forest. After a short trek, gradually you begin to approach Annapurna Base Camp (4130m). From the base camp, you can watch the panoramic views of several peaks which are all so clear and closer to your eye. The breathtaking views will give you vivid pictures that will attach to your memories that you don’t want to erase. Overnight in a teahouse.

Day 5Trek to Sinuwa (2360m)

Early morning, enjoy the view of Mount Hiunchuli (6441m), Annapurna South (7229m), Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna III (7555m), Gangapurna (7454m) and Machhapuchhare or Fish Tail (6997m). You will be amazed to view sun kissing the mountains. Take out your camera and capture those amazing mountains. On that same day, after breakfast, we will trek back to Sinuwa. Stay overnight in a teahouse.

Day 6Trek back to Siwai. Drive to Pokhara

After breakfast, we will follow the path that is decent to Chomrong Khola and we go up a stone staircase which you think will never end for almost an hour till we reach Chomrong. The trail follows steep down to Jhinudanda. From the Chomrong, you will walk down for 20 minutes to reach Hot Spring at the bank of the Modi Khola. You can relax at the hot springs and comfort your body with a hot bath. Then, will trek an hour and take a jeep to Pokhara. Overnight in Hotel. (BB Basis)

Day 7Drive to Kathmandu

After early breakfast at a hotel in Pokhara. We will check-out from hotel and catch our tourist bus which leaves at 7 AM to drive us to Kathmandu and the driving will be a fantastic experience as we drive past many small towns on the way and we are able to see rural settlements, gushing rivers, terraces, and green rural landscapes. We will stop for lunch in between the travel from Pokhara to Kathmandu. After 6 hours drive, we will arrive at Kathmandu and stay overnight in your hotel.
